Becoming A Business Coach
At the beginning of spring, millions of Americans look forward to preseason Major League Baseball action (aptly dubbed “spring training”). In preseason baseball, and with preseason sports in general, both the players and managers try to work out any issues with their teams. Their goal is to get the best possible team ready before the real games happen and the quest the World Series Trophy begins. There are many advantages to practicing in a realistic game environment of course, as it lets everyone see roughly where their team will stand come the regular season.
So that’s all fine with regards to baseball, but how does this relate to your business?
In many ways, a business is like a baseball game. The CEOs are like the managers, and the players are like the employees. The coworker that always slacks off even when a deadline is approaching could be compared to Alex Rodriguez, for example (sorry, I couldn’t resist that little jab there). But like a baseball club, every business needs a coach. Someone who’s impartial, with a great deal of business wisdom, and who gives a great deal of inspiration. Someone like you!
Being a business coach is a fantastic way to improve your business. Imagine saying that your knowledge was the reason behind someone else’s success. Think of what it would be like to advertise that your services were the reason that, when the hard times hit and the competition got rough (the World Series of business), the business you coached survived. Put another way, you put your knowledge and expertise to use in a tangible way, bringing it from the theoretical to the practical. And it was a success!
Now think to yourself, who wouldn’t want to be your client?
I know I sure would!
And one way you can jump start your activities as a Business Coach is to take advantage of the small business management training courses available as a member of the Consultant Supply Room.
Now don’t get me wrong, these are not training courses where I am going to teach you how to become a small business consultant … these are Instructors Guides, lesson plans and handouts you can use to showcase your talents as a small business consultant, or use to start your own Small Business Academy.
You can choose form over a dozen courses to give, each designed as a series of once a week workshops or seminars, given over a six week period, an excellent opportunity to showcase your ability as a small business management coach, and turn your students into clients!
I know that by now you’re thinking that this stuff could be worth hundred’s, if not thousands of dollars in new billings for your practice, so it must cost something pretty hefty, right? Wrong!
You can get each new course, along with all the classroom handouts for about the same price as an oil change at your local Jiffy Lube. Think about it, for the $47 price of that monthly oil change you have to get in order to keep your 1987 Yugo on the road, you can get the tools and resources you need to build practice revenue to the point where you can afford that brand new glitzy Beemer.
Click on the “Subscribe” button below and start really building your practice today.
PS – I know I covered this in lots of other places here, but you get a lot more than just these lecture notes and handouts each month. You also get pre-written speeches, private label workbooks, a monthly client newsletter, marketing leads, techniques and tools, as well as reduced prices on niche training that you can use to build a practice featuring specialty services that no one else in your market offers.
