What’s This All About, Kirk?

Kirk WardSo, you just wandered by and are wondering how this site popped up on your list of places to visit, aren’t you?

Well, my name is Kirk Ward, and I’m a retired small business consultant with a bunch of stuff here that I used when I was building my consulting and accounting practices in Atlanta, Durham, and Wilmington in the late 80’s and through the 90’s.

I used stuff like speeches, small business training courses, small business management workbooks, articles and special reports as part of a technique that is now called “Rainmaker” style marketing.

After I retired, I had all this stuff just sitting around filling up shelf space, so I decided that instead of throwing it away, I would scan it, clean it up and modernize it a bit, and then use it to help people just starting or building their small business consulting practices.

And, that’s what this site is built to offer.  Resources you can use to start and build your own small business consulting business in your own home town.  Resources that will help you present yourself as an expert in small business, even if you’ve never personally thought of yourself as an expert before.  Timeless material that you can use as your own to build your own consulting business, no matter what your former field of expertise.

You can check us out and test the waters by posting your next speaking event on our calendar, using our notification system to announce your event to all of your contacts, and then finally download and use our free press release software to announce your speech on the internet!
